TEACHING STAFFS APPOINTED.
His Excellency the Governor has made tho following appointments to tho Coolt Islands Public Service :tt-
To be head teacher of the Arorangi School at Rarotonga, and also to be Superintendent of the schools in the Cook Islands (other than the Island of Niiie) —Mr. Herbert Rogers. To be head teacher of the Takitumu School, Rarotonga—Mr. William Charles Smith.

To be third assistant teacher at the Arovantd Scliool, Rarotonga—Miss Ngapoko Pirangi. To ho first assistant teacher at the Takitumu ■ School, Rarotonga—Mrs. Laura Louisa Smith.
To be second assistnnt teacher at the Takitumu \ School, Rarotonga—Miss Irene May Smith.
To bo third assistant teacher at the Takitumu School, Rarotonga—Miss Lilian Adele Smith.
To bo head teacher at the 'Araura Scliool, Aitutaki—Geoffrey Henry,
To lie assistant teacher at the Araura Scliool, Aitutaki—Mot'ua Henry.
