ASHMEAD BARTLETT
Messrs. J. and N. Tait announce that Mr. 15. Ashmead Bartlett, _ the wellKnown war correspondent, will give his lecture, "With the Anzacs at the Dardanelles," in the Town Hall on April 13 and 15. Mr. Bartleft, in. his position of official representative of the British Press, was able to obtain firsthand information of the operations at the Dardanelles, and the many incidents which ho witnessed from the time of tho landing onwards will form the subject of his lecture. Mr. Bartlett's dispatches describing the wonderful heroism of tho Australasian troops at Gallipoli were one of the sensations 'of the Dardanelles campaign, and it is safe to predict considerable interest in his visit. Mr. Bartlott has been a war correspondent in all tho great campaigns of recent years—the Gracco'furkish, South African (as an ofBcor), Russo-Japanese, French and Spanish campaigns in Morocco, the Italian War in Tripoli, and the First and Second Balkan conflicts.
