WELLINGTON SHAKE MARKET. - There were only two quotations for mining shares yesterday, and .they were as follow:— Buyers. Sellers, £ e. d. £ s. d. Talisman 0 11 3 — Wallii ; 115 0 - MURRAY GREEK. In his report for the month ended March 31, the mine taanagcr of the Murray Creek Gold-mining Company states:—Stoplng has l*cu continued from No. 3 and intermediate levels. The tonnage seut to tho battery from these two stopes is 206 tons from No. 3 levol, and 174 tons from the intermediate level. This, with 60 tons that was in the ore bin, makes u- total of 440 tons crushed, which produced 419 ounces of retorted gold. The cyanide clean-up is not yet completed. The winze from No. 3 level has been sunk / 30 feet. The reef at the bottom i© 4 feet 8 inches in width. 'IThis is the only point the hangingwa.ll has been seen since sinking commenced. Samples of the ore have been every 5 feet, but the assay results are not yet through. In appearance the reef looks to be equal in values to that in any other part of the mine, gold being visible in most of it. The shaft has been sunk 49 feet, making a total depth below No. 3 level of 69 feet. Owing to shortage of water supply only five of the ten stamps were in use to March 24, but since then the battery has been running to its present full capacity. IMXJR GOLDFIELDS.
