D.C.M. DECORATION
FOR PRIVATE R. C. M'LEOD. By Ttleiraph—Frees Association. Dunedin, ■ April 5.. The Hon. J. Allen is visiting his electorate. At a public meeting in the Lawrence Town Hall last night he made a recruiting speech, and during the-pro-ceedings presented a Distinguished Conduct Medal to Private, Robert Clarence M'Leou, of Tuapeka Mouth. The medal was won by M'Leod at Helles'for an act of gallantry and devotion to duty.
