FREDERIC COLEMAN. F.R:G.S. 9 "WITH THE ALLIES IN FRANCE AND FLANDERS." • • Mr. Frederic Coleman, who will make his first appearance in one Dominion in the Town Hall Concert, Chamber tomorrow evening, is descibed as one who tells thrilling events of the war in simple language, and conveys to the minds of his hearers vivid word-pictures of the titanic struggle now raging, lightened by anecdotes in humorous vein. If the note of sadness is instable mow and then, there are many_ tales of heroic deeds and glorious sacrifices, andi underlying it all a trumpet call to the race to do its utmost. It is said his comments .on the gallantry, the cheerfulness, and the spjrit of the British troops, and in no lessor degree of their brave French allied, are very heartening and encouraging. Mr. Coleman, through journalistic instincts and long experience gained in othor wars, brings a welltrained mind to bear on the present great struggle, and he will speak as one who was right in the thick of the fighting for many msnths, in trench and firing lino, whilst attached to the British Headquarters Staff. In addition to the opening lecture to-morrow evening, others will bo delivered on the following Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
