Tlio raino superintendent of tho Iloss Goldfieldß reports ns follows on tho work at (he mine for the past week:— The east drivo was advanced 35 feet, making a total progress of 184 feet from No. 19 north drive. The blue wash passed through prospects half a dozen line colours to the dish, and is rising rapidly. The underlying brown terrace bottom, which is now within 18 inches of the back laths, is more like a 6oft sandstone than the usual gravel conglomerates. The removal of the pillars around tho main cast drives wntlnuei.
