A jumble solo, organised by three Alicetown children, Ella Wright, Jessie M'Donald, and Hazel Lowe, was recently held at Mrs. lliordan's residence, and resulted in tlie sum of £1 12s. LO.Jd. being handed to the Hutt Ladies' Guild for the Bed Cross Fund. This amount was sufficient to purchase the material for tlie manufacture of eight suits of pyjamas. A.
