Ministerial circles dcclaro that all along it was intended that Mr. Bonar Law (Secretary of State for the Colonies) should attend the Economio Conference in Paris. A misapprehension arose through Mr. Lloyd George (Minister of Munitions) stating that Mr. Runciman (President of the Board of Trade) would be the prinoipal delegate.^ "A CONFERENCE OP VICTORY" MILITARY SCHEMES RATIFIED. UNANIMOUSLY. (Rec. March. 29, 8.45 p m.) Paris, March'2B. The Allies' Conference is closing. The delegates legard it as a conference of victory and an evidence of the complete unity of the Allies, afforded by the fact that the schemes which the military authorities had elaborated to the fullest detail in recent months were considered and ratified in a few hours. &Ir. Asquith and Lord Kitchener are accompanying the Italian delegates to Home. . ■ - . UNITY OF ACTION. , (Rec. March 29, 11.25 p.m.\ Paris, March 29. The conference unanimously affirmed measures witli which to realise "unity of military, economic, and diplomatic action, and instructed the Economic Conference to co-ordinato the Allies' economic action ■ in order to prevent supplies reaching the enemy. A permanent committee was established at Paris, on which all the Allies are represented, and it was resolved that common action should be taken to secure an equitable distribution of tho maritime transport burdens, and so check the rise in freights.
