It has now boon decided that the opening ceremony in connection with the now G'onstal.lo Street-Crawford Road extension of tho tramway systom will take placo at 3 p.m. on Monday next at tho top of Constable- Stroot—'-a spot which overlooks both sections of tho newest extension. It is expected that tho now lino will bo officially tested by tho Chief Enginoor of the Public Work's Department on Friday next.

Consequent upon tho opening being fixed for Monday next, the meeting of both tho Finance and Tramways Committeos of tho council will be held on Tuesday afternoon next.
