SAILORS FRIENDS SOCITY
At the Sailors' Friend Society last , night' there was a good. attendance at a homelike concert provided by Madame Mueller and party. Competitions of a cheery nature were held. A Few words on the total abstinence question were spoken by ; the Missioner, Mr. Moore. At the close of a most profitable timo a hearty, vote of thanks to the performers was carried. Items wero tendered by the following:—Mrs. .Rowe ; Misses Parker, Griffiths, Mueller, Messrs. Hood, Smith, Olsen, Shepherd, and ,Cartwright (Arawa), Mrs. Hickaon wan the accompanist. •
