Over sixty years of, age, Prebendary W.E. Burroughs, rector, of St. Peter's. Tiverton, is giving daily assistance in munition work. His two .curates both attested under the Derby scheme. Corporal E. Doran, of the Empire Battalion, Royal Engineers, a Manchester man, claims to bold the world's "record" for individual recruiting, having in 11 months secured 8700 recruits in London.
