She will not leave, the northern port until to-morrow, working' the .Last Coast ports a day late, and is due here oil Saturday. On Saturday evening she will depart for Dunediu direct-omitting Lyttelton in order to catch up her running time. C-VNTEM3TJEY SHIPPING COMPANY'S VESSELS. The Canterbury Shipping Company's Breeze left for southern ports yesterday afternoon. She will probably return to this port on April 3, leaving the same day for Wuiiganui. WIMMEEA AHRIVEfe. The Wimmora, from Melbourne and Hotart, arrived in port shortly after o o'clock last evening. The trip acrosj the Tasninn Sea was quite uneventful, and fair •weather was experienced until approaching Wellington Hearts, when, as tho result of the north-easterly, a choppy sea was encountered. The Wimincra will lcavo for the south this evening. OTAKI AT AUCKLAND.. Telegraphic advice states that the P. and S. chartered liner Otaki arrived at Auckland from Liverpool and ports at 1.00 o'clock yesterday morning. In ail probability she, will leave the northern port for Wellington on Thursday. Cargo working will be commenced at this port on Monday, and the vessel will probably leave on the following Thursday for the south. The Amokura is at present at the Bluff coaling. It is "iipectod that sue will talto her departurd from that port for her visit to the outlying southern islands on Thursday morning. The Hinemoa loft Wcstport in continuation of her return voyage from tho soutn a- little after t p.m. yesterday. She will call at Tho Brothers-on the way up, and will probably not be here until Wednesday morning. The Eosamond arrived in port from Tim. nra yesterday. She is to depart for Oamaru, Timaru, and Bluff to-day.; With some 5<16 tons of cargo to land, the Kaituna is expected to arrive from Auckland this morning. In the evening she will depart with the remainder of her cargo for Lyttelton and further south. The Maitai, which is due from Sydney tomorrow, is bringing 107 passengers, and has 1170 tons of cargo to discharge here. , From northern ports, the Monowai is expected to arrive to-morrow. After diecharging some 160 tons of cargo she will proceed south. The Karu is expected from Grcymouth to-toy. She will leave for New Plymouth to-morrow. With a full cargo for Wellington, the Kowhai is to leave Kew Plymouth at noon to-day. She will arrive- on Wednes. day morning,' and will depart the same uight for Wcstport to load for Lyttelton. The Blackball Coal Company's collier Ngahero is expected in to-morrow from Grevmoiith, and will leave again' the. following day for Picton and Tokomaru Bay. The, Ngakuta will be in on Friday from Napier. She will discharge part of her cargo of coal here, and will proceed to Grcymouth 011 Saturday. Messrs. Hatrick and Co. announce that their vessel, the Tainui, will arrive from Waitara to-morrow. On Thursday she will return to Waitara. The trawler Pilot, owned by Messrs. F. Lufaro and Sons, Lyttelton, which has trawled out of Lyttelton and Timaru for some years, has been purchased by the master (Captain Partridge) and Mr. 0. Manning, of Timaru. The vessel now at Timaru, and henceforth will trawl out of that port. ; It is expected that the erstwhile Canterbury Company's steamer Petone will leave the Dominion on her initial trip to Surprise Island in about a week's time. Meanwhile she > will carry coal or timber between Grcymouth and Lyttelton.
The Queen of the lioutli, -which,left Foxton on Sunday night for Wellington, was unable to negotiate the bar, and in consequence will not reach Wellington until today.
