HOBBLE-SKIRTED FOOTBALL
A GALA POSTPONED,
As the troops from the Trentham Camp are to parade through Wellington on Saturday afternoon next, and races are to be held on the Trentham courso on Saturday week, the New Zealand Natives' Association has decided to postpone its unique football gala "until Saturday, April 15. On that occasion a football team of young'ladies, to be selected by Mrs. M'Vicar, will be pitted agaiust a team of soldiers from the Trentham" Camp, who are to bo handicapped by having to play in hobbleskirts. Rugby rules are to be observed (more or less) _ during the game. Another event will be the liobble-skirted military running' championship of New Zealand. The gala,_ which is in aid of the fund for entertaining and caring for the soldiers, will be held on the Athletic Park, by the kind permission of the Rugby Union.
