PIGEON-RACING
A race from Eketahuna was flown under the auspices of the Hutt Valley Homing Pigeon Society on Saturday, a distance of 61 miles. Tho results were as follow: —W. and L. Booth's Red Light, velocity, 1026.69 yards per min., 1; A. and J. Booth's Wilderness, 1026.06 yards, 2; Whitehead and Booth's Coronet, 1025 yards, 3; W.\J. Smith's Quicksilver, 1014 yards; 0. D. and 0. Abrahall's Lady Betty, 1006 yards; Thomas and Clarke's No. Fool, 987 yards.
