Of New Zealand interest. A war wedding of New Zealand interest has to be added to a gradually lengthening list (.states a London correspondent of February A). It took plnco on January 13 at Marsh' Gibbon, Buckinghamshire. The bridegroom was Captain H. D. Robertson, E.A.M.C., second son of Mr. Donald Robertson, of Wellington. The bride, Miss Dora Shirtel'iffc, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Shirtcliffe, also of Wellington, arrived from New Zealand by the Turakina on Christmas Eve. Tho marriage took place at Marsh Gibbon parish church, from the rectory, the bride being the niece of Canon E.R. Massey, rural (lean and rector. Captain Robertson was in France until January, and lie is now attached to the New Zealand .Military Hospital at Wal-ton-on-Thames. Canon Massey gave his niece away, and the ceremony was performed bv the Rev. J. C. Massey, M.A., Canon of Southwell and rector or Risley (uncle of the bride), assisted by the Rev. J. D. Massey, M.A., curate of Kingsthorpo (cousin of tho bride). Tho ceremony was choral, Miss Jean Bayfield being the organist. Tho bridal dress was of white taffetas, the veil of tuljo was fastened with orange blossom, and tho bounimt. was of lilies of the valley. Miss Sybil Graham (niece of the bridegroom) was tho bridesmaid, wearing a dross of rose pink silk, and carrying a muff of brown fur. Lieut. T. H. Kinder, Suffolk Regiment, of Wanganui, was best man. He was in khaki, as also was tho bridegroom,, and there was a goodly sprinkling of this colour in tho If.-iv "of "the church. ' A reception was held subsequently by Mrs. E. R, Massev, at tiit rectory, to which a limited number of relatives and friends were invited. Those present included Mrs. Robertson (mother of the bridegroom), Mr. Wilfred Robertson (brother), and Mrs. Robertson, Lieut. Graham F. Miehie (3Lh Middlesex), and Mrs. Michie, Captain S. Sodcn, R.AvM.C, and Mrs. Sodcn. > ' Later Captain and Mrs. Robertson left for Walton-on-Thames, the latter wearing a' costume of nigger brown, with brown hat and a co.it of musquash. A great many presents were received, the bridegroom giving the bride an omerald and "diamond ring, and* a strin« of seed pearls to tho bridesmaid. The bride's present to the bridegroom was a silver-fitted dressing-case.
