At the .Supreme Court to-day, a cuso concluded beforo Mr. Justice Denniston and a special jury, in which Joseph Kayo claimed CIOOO damages from tbo Westpnrt Harbour Board for the loss of a foot, as the result of an accident in Taurango Bay tunnel at Cape Foulwind. The jury ■awarded Kayo £750. Argument on the point raised by the that the Workers' Compensation Act limits the compensation payable to £500 will be beard at' Wellington next -week.
