WOOLLEN MILL STRIKE
APPROVED BY WORKERS IN OTAGO. By Telegraph—Press Association. ■ i Dunedin, March 22. s A. large meeting of employees of tba Roslyn Woollen Mills was held to-night to consider tho trouble at Petone Wool, len Mills. A resolution was carried expressing admiration of the stand, made by tho Petono workers, and pledging the meet- ■ ing to do all in its power to assist them in their demand for an. increase iu wages, and urging the workers in tho Otago Mills not to work on any orders from the' Petone Mills, and if necessary to cease work altogether. ' The chairman (Mr. J. Haymes) and Mr. R. Breen were empowered to con--'vene meetings at each of the milk to give practical effect to the resolution.
It was stated yesterday that the position regarding the cessation of work at tho Petone Woollen Mills was unaltered. The secretary of the company observed that the company had not invited any of the employees to return to work. -...'•.-
