Applications must be made on forms obtainable from the Permanent Head of the Lands and Survey Department, or from this office. ' 3. Applicants must be not less than 16 years of age, and must have passed either the Public Service Entrance or the Matriculation Examination, and in such examination have passed in and gained at least 33 per cent, of the marks obtainable in Elementary Mathematics.' :. 4.
