THE WEATHER
SUMMARY AND FORECAST AT I P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for high west to south-west winds; equally weather, with heavy showers; and expect a cool change. Barometer falling further in ' the north, but rising shoi'tly in the south. ' The westerly disturbance intensified during the night, and electrical storms were very prevalent. The weather has been clou-dy and unsettled, with rain generally. Strong northerly winds prevailed, but changed to the. south in the southern districts -to-day. D. 0.
