HATAITAI, RATEPAYERS' ASSOCIATION
'■•Mr. A. Leigh .Hunt presided_ at the monthly meeting of the Hataitai Ratepayers' Association held at the Bowling Club Pavilion last evening. Owing to numerous Icomplaints .in connection'with the milk supply it was decided to ask the City Council to treat the matter as one of urgency and endeavour to settle the question at an early date. ;
The following resolution was also carried: "That this committee again enters its emphatic , protest against the insanitary and r indecent conditions prevailing ou the trams; between this'section and the city owing to the present unparalleled overcrowding, and calls on the City Council for the credit of the city' to immediately remedy matters." Owing to the danger , of the Town Hall-site in Waipapa Road for a rubbish dump, •a, ;Sub-committeo was appointed to prepare a report on the matter. . _' ; ... It was decided to approach the City Council in reference to tho right-of-way to the reservoir section. .
