Mails for Cromarty, Puysegur Point, Te Qncroa, and West Coast Sounds and'Bay6 close at Bluff, per Hinemoa, this day at 10.30 a.m. ' as correspondence for all neutral countries is subject to censorship it is urged in order to avoid delays that such correspondence be posted in ample time for the mail, the day previous to its dispatch if possible. .. Parcels for dispatch by steamers and trains, with the exception of the usual ferry steamers for southern offices, close at the Ohief Post Office, Wellington, one hour before the advertised times of olosing of mails. The parcel post mail per Main Trunk express closes at the C.P.O. at 11.30 a.m., and for the south per Ferry steamer at 6.45 p.m. ' ' late letters for mails beyond the Dominion cannot in future bo posted on the steamer, but must be posted in the lateletter posting-box at the Chief Post Office up to the appointed time shown on tho wail notice.
The advertised times for closing mails by steamers are liable to alteration (earlier or later) at any moment.
As the last clearance of the City receivers is flia'de at 5.45 p.m. on Saturdays, all correspondence for the Sunday night Auckland express must bo posted at the Chief Post Offico not later than 8 p.m. on Sunday. , All books and sample-packets and newspapers for places within tho. Dominion must be posted half an hour before the ordinary letter-mail closes.
"Unless otherwise specified, registered letters and parcels-post packages must be handed in and money-orders obtained one hour before the ordinary mail closes. The .public are earnestly requested to register ell letters containing money or valuables, intended to be sent by- post." All the principal mails by train and □learner close at Te Aro and Courtenay Place Post Officce ct the fume hoiirs as at the Chief Post Office, with the exception that there is no late-fee clearance, and that mails by the ferry steamers for southern offices close, at 5.45 p.m. • Mails for Auckland and Auckland district, per eecond Main Trunk express close at Courtenay Place at 5.45 p.m. and To Aro at 8 p.m. .
