Nurse\Sinclair, who has been visiting Now Plymouth, returns to Wellington early this week. She expects to return to Egypt shortly.

Mr. and Mrs. M. Caselberg (Masterton) are visiting Rotorua, and Miss Vera. Caselberg is the guest of Mrs. Keesing, Napier.

Mrs. St. George (Masterton) and her son, Mr. L. St. George, returned to the Wairarapa. on Saturday from a visit to Otaki and Wellington.

On Saturday the members of the Y.AV.C.A; Convention, hold in Wanganui, were taken up the Wanganui River for a trip. It proved most enjoyable, and the weather was perfcct. On Sunday the convention service was held .in the Methodist , Church, which _was crowded to the doors. Chaplain-Cap-tain Blaniires, who returned from' the front on Saturday, preached, and gave a most interesting address on his work amongst our men at the seat of war.

The Misses Fellingham are visiting Featherston.

Mrs. Lawrence Taylor, with her children. left with the Prime Minister on Sunday evening on her return to Auckland.

Owing to his presence being needed in Auckland, the Prime Minister, tho Hon. W. F. Massey, is not able to perform the opening ceremony which is being held in connection with tho new Y.M.C.A. building at Featherston, and Mrs. Massey, who was to have been present upon tha occasion, is also unable to attend owing to the indisposition of Miss Massey, who is suffering from an attack of influenza.

The Mayoress, Mrs. J. 7. Luke, her daughter, and her son, have left lor Wanganui and the river trip.
