* Chrlstenurch, March ,20. A deputation interested in the development of iron ores from Parapara. ironsand' and* in Taranaki interviewed the Hoii. Mr. Mac Donald, Minister of Mines, this morning, and asked tor amendments of the present-law' in order to give greater facilities to those engaged iii establishing the smelting industry. The Minister said/ the subject was a policy matter, and he would submit itjto Cabinet.
