A Socialist member, Siguor Lucci, declared' that Germany was invincible. The battle was necessarily one of exhaustion. Eng.land alone understood this,. and therefore had chosen to fight in an economio sphere instead of on the battlefield. The. Chamber angrily protested, and the speaker was called to order.
