Paris, March 20. There is much speculation over M. Ribot's speech in the Chamber of Deputies. '.'We are," he said, "at a decisive' hour. , It is permissible, without illusion, to perceive the end of the war."
The "Gaulois" remarks: "M. Ribot's, personality and position give these words a significance which can escape nobody. It is -the first allusion, in twenty months, to the eventuality of a rapid towards peace on our terms."
[M. Ribot is the French Finance Minister.]
