A Tace for l&-footers was held- under tho auspices of the Heretaunga Boatin"- Club on Saturday, over a six and a half-mile course, for tho Hartley Cup. The results wero as follow:—Spray, 'started 3 p.m., finished 4, 43min. 47scc, 1 • Irex, 3, 4min. 30sec. p.m., finished 4,' 44min. 57sec, 2; Illinois, 3, 2min. 45scc, finished 4, 49min. lOseo., 3.
