The High Commissioner reports
"A Turkish force, accompanied by three German officers, attacked tha British outpost at lmad, ten miles from Aden, on • Thursday, and were severely repulsed and pursued for four mile!.. On Friday seventeen Turkish dead wero found on the field. Our losses wero one Indian soldier killed and ono British officer and sixteen men wounded."
