WHAT A CHRISTCHURCH DENTIST! SAYS ABOUT HIS STUDEBAKER. We have made t>ig claims Tor the Studew baker'caT on the score of its reliability, its simplicity, and the ease with which it can be driven. The following letter, ad< dressed to us by Mr. K. Cowper, 6urgeonjdentist, of this city, demonstrates tho kin<! of service the Sfftidebaker will give in th< hands of an owner who has had com. paratively little driving experience. Mr ; Cow-per purchased a Studebaker car fron us on November 30th last, and his firs! lengthy tour was one in the North Island during tho recent Christmas and Neyj Year holidays. Concerning his experu ences on that tour, Mr. Cow-per writes:— "Just a few- lines to tell you. how thor. oughly satisfied I am with my Studebaker car. As you know, I took it away with me to the North Island, and went in all about 1200 miles, over all the big hills up in tho north. Going from Wcllington through to Napier over the Biiuutakas, across to Palmerston, Wanganui, uml New Plymouth, and back to Wellington ovor the famous Paekakariki Hill, tho car took all tho big hills with the greatest ease, and did not give mo the Slightest anxiety. All that distance It was not touched by anyone savo to give it petrol end oil, and ive did not even hav< Fo put wind into the tyres. Yon will bi surprised to hear that I brought tho cai ovor the Zig-zag from Lyttelton to Sumner, which says something for the ca» , and tho way you taught mo to drive.'" The Studebaker driven by Mr. Cowpei was, of course, equipped with electric •ielf-starter and olectric lights. The new 191G model Studebakers will be to hand shortly, a first shipment being expected next week. The prices the new models are:—2s h.p. fivc-seator (including elcctrio self-starter, electric lights, and full road equipment), £315; 25 h.p. thrce-seater (same equipment), ,£335. They are even, better than the 1915 model, which has given such magnificent satisfaction to all purchasers. Adams, Ltd., N.Z. Importers of Studebaker Motors, Christohurch, Palmerston North, Wanganui.
