About 1.30 o'clock yesterday morning a motor-cycle and sido-car, with three passengers—tho driver, a lady in tho sido-car, and a inau on the carrier of the cycle—met with a nasty accident while returning down Tinakori Road. It appears that in an endeavour to pass between a cart and the curb, the motor-cyclo struck tho cart and capsized on to the footpath. 'i'lic occupant of the side-car escaped entirely without injury, but tho other passengers wero not so fortunate. Mr. \V. Eeattie, who was riding the cycle, was considerably bruised and cut aliout, while the passenger 011 the earner) Jlr. Matter.-,on, received injuries to his head. Dr. Henry, who was summoned to tho scene of the accident, ordered tho removal of Beattie and Mattersou to tho Hospital. ilr. S.
