/.Balanoe in hand ............ £20 8 9 "Our Dominion is now represented by name in Church Army Hospital in France, this £50 entitling us to name a bed, which is maintained 12 months by this donation. There is now a New Zealand! hed," states; the: Hey. Mr. Whibley, "in use. The next bed is | named the Weber Church district hed —unless any donor can suggest 'a more appropriate name. The balance in hand, £20 Bs. 9d., will go towards the £50 required. Several parcels of white and black wool and skins are at Williams and Kettle's ready for their next 6ale on April 11. As there are several farmers who have not yet sent in their lots, may I request that they and others who would like to help uur brave Allies in their fight to send in their donations by April 11, so that the £50 can be sent to London. There will be thousands of wounded after Verdun. How thankful the French must be for any assistance, however small! The 100 beds of the Church Army Hospital are being increased in number, in "response to the request of the French Bed Cross, as funds admit. Many thanks to all contributors for the bed already in use, and for the one I confidently expect you will set going next month."
