'AT A CANTERBURY STATION. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christcliuroli, March 17. A oollision occurred this afternoon, at Kirwee between tlio 3.55 train from Cliristchurch and the afternoon Springfield train, due at Cliristchurch at 6.30. The Springfield train came on against the signals, and humped into the engine of the .train .standing at the station. One carriage was' smashed, but nobody was hurt. The engines, however, became interlocked, and difficulty is being experienced in releasing them.
