They jeered the announcement that Mr. Asguith would not receive a deputation. It was decided to form a married men's league, and insist on the pledge being carried out. The married men are arranging for a demonstration on an immense scale in Hyde I'ark on Saturday. A conferenoe of the Government and the War Office discussed tho recruiting situation. It is understood that married men thirty-six years and upwards will not be required to serve. Probably unmarried men ovor forty years will shortly be enlisted. An active campaign to canvass_ unattested married men is beginning immediately.
