Ladies, listen! "No-rubbing Launary Help" washes all garments perfectly clean without rubbing or injury,- £10 guarantee with every Is. package, sufficient seven washings. Wellington grocers—Ad-vt.

1 NEW ZEALAND ENGINEER'S PRIVATE OPINION OF THE STUDEBAKER. , Tse Tourist Motor Co., Hastings, knowing that we are closely interested in Studebaker motors, have forwarded to ua a copy nf a lengthy business letter sent them by Mi. Allan 11. M'Le&n, the en. giueer of their firm, who is at present in Detroit, investigating the claims of tho 1916 models of the great American automobile manufacturers. The Tourist Motor Co. have very courteously given ua permission to publish oxtracte from tha letter, and we extract the following paragraph as likely to interest owners and prospective owners of Studebaker cars:— "My honest opinion about the Studebaker oar'is that it is the best value for money on the American market, and as far aa tmibii and workmanship are concerned it is second to none. I consider that we would be foolish to take up the agency for any higher priced cor that is built here, because if we repaint the StudeDaker and equip it with wire wheels it would be equal to the Minerva in appearance and quietness of running. The engine is the cleanest designed one that I havo insi>ected." It may be explained that Mr. M'Lean's mission to America was to secure the agency of a high-priced American car to take tha place of tho firm's Silent Knight Minerva agency. There is a good market in Hawke's Bar for tie very best car obtainable, regardless of price. Mr;' M'Lean's honest opinion regarding tho Studebaker is that there is no American oar on the market better than tho Studebaker at any price. Tho hve-seater touring Studebaker t (4-cylinder, 25 h.p.), with electric self-starter and electric lights, sells in New Zealand for ,£345, the tnrec-seatcr Studebaker, with same equipment, being priced at .£'335.
