The fc&tur<M>f the sale ivas a consignment of 1000 4 and 6-tooth R.L.-cross ewes, sold on account of Mrs. Burling, of Glcncoe, Statiou, which, was porliaips the best line of ewes offered in the Bush district this sason. The demand lor stock generally was not overrated, but steady, and we effected a clearance of practically the whole of our yarding .nt current rates: —Account of Mrs. Burline, 150 4 and otooth ewes, at 275. lOd., 122 at 275. 9d., 150 at 255. 7d., 300 at 255. 6d., 46 at 255. 2d. Competition was keen throughout the sale, and all the sheep" were sold at prices well aboro late rates Cattle were hard to • sell owing to the quality not being too good.
