Colonial Motor Coy (one-fourth share of 200 guinea donation .52 10 0 A few months back the Colonial Motor Co., Ltd., who are the sole agents in New Zealand for the Ford Motor Company, of Canada, made a stnaight-out gift to the authorities of a new Ford ambulance, worth .£2OO, which, it was intended should be used by the Dominion's wounded and disabled soldiers. This firm are now .ukling to their benefaction, and are placing at the disposal of the Red Cross Military Hospital Guild a total amount of two hundred guineas, divided equally between Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin. AVe have to acknowledge receipt of a cheque for the proportion allocated to this City, .£52 10s:, which has been passed on _to the body concerned for recognition in the usual way.
