„ London, March 15. Official.—Our forces under General Peyton will occupy Solium (on the frontier of Egypt and Tripoli) to-day. The Senussi camp at Msead is report, ed to be unoccupied, and opposition is not expected. The Bedouins who joinSayed Ahmed's forces are demoralised, and suffering greatly from hunger and disappointment. The leading sheiks of Harum have surrendered, while headmen of the Aula-dali tribe are asking for pardon. Starving Bedouins with their families are flocking into our lines for food and shelter, having been robbed and illtreated by the Tripolitan Bedouius who entered Egypt under Sayed Ahmed. SOLLUM OCCUPIED ENEMY ABANDONS GUNS AND MUNITIONS. (Rec. March 16, 10.50 p.m.) ■ London, March 16.. Official.—General Peyton has re-occu-pied Solium, and armed motor-cars, cavalry, and camel corps successfully pursued tho enemy, capturing three guns, nine maohine-guns, and much ammunition.
