The present programme includes the Har"ngton Reynolds Company in tabloid drama; Tea Stagpoole in wonderful contortion feats; Armitage and Hine in comedy 'sketches) Bates and "Wade in a comedy acrobatic performance; and several other good turns. There will be repetitions of tho same programme to-night and to-morrow afternoon and evening. • BRIGADIER GERARD. The final screenings of the Napoleonic play "Brigadier Gerard" (starring Lewis Waller and Madge Titlic-radgo), whion has been a decided success at tho King's Theatre this week, are , announced. The pioturo will be shown twice to-day, in the afternoon at 2.30, and at night at- the usual time, and to-morrow there will be the usual ' matinee, the film being: screened. for the last time to-morrow night.. . MARY PICKFORD AT THE KING'S. In the,romantic story of Noll Gwynne, the actress'-, who won the heart of, a King, and who in return saved him from treachery, Mary Pickford, as "Mistress Nell," has a part in which she revels, and in which, she is seen to great advantage, displaying her wonderful versatility .in the ever-changing : story in which romance, adventure, intrigue,, and much splendid comedy are - cleverly: intermingled. EMPRESS THEATRE. 1 ' ''Up from, the' Depths" is the title of the big drama on the current _ picture programme at the Empress Theatre. The film has proved a'big drawing card during the week, and there were big crowds at every session yesterday.
