NOTICE is hereby ' given tliat tho Makara County Council, in pursuance of tho provisions of "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913," and "The Counties Act, 1905," and its amending Acta, proposes to raise a Special Loan of .£IOOO From the Superintendent, State Advances Office, for the purposo and ou the conditions hereinafter mentioned:— (n) Such Loan, is being raised , for the purpose of constructing new bridges to replace those that were destroyed by flood in ■ November, 1915, and repairing damage, caused by the same flood, to otlier bridges and roads throughout tho Porirua Riding of tho Mnkara County. - - (b) The amount proposed to be borrowed is 31000. ' (c) The Security for the said Loan is to bo 1-32 of n penny in the pound, to bo lovied upon the rateable value of all rateable property in tho Porirua Riding, excepting that portion of the Riding known as the No. 2 Special-rating Area—Ngahauranga to Rowlands Road Special Rating Area—(vide New Zealand Gazette, p. 2243, July 18, 1912), of tho Makara County..
