AN INVITATION TO OUR PARLIAMENTARIANS
FOUR MEMBERS TO VISIT ENGLAND AM) FRANCE. By Telepraph—Press Association. Dunedln, March 15. Mr. Malcolm, M.P., secretary of the New. Zealand Branch of the Empire Parliamentary Association, has received a cablegram from the British Branch hiviting the former to _ choose four members of the Dominion- Parliament to visit London for a month in July, to see the war organisation _ and exchange opinions informally with members of tlie British Parliament. Visiting members are offered hotel accommodation and travelling facilities in I Britain, and possibly France.
The committee which has in hand the St. Patrick's. Day celebrations hope to mako the day a groat success, to-mor-row. At Nowtown Park a big sports programme is to bo run off; there will do various sido shows, and plenty of amusement. The procession, which will leave Boulcott St-reot at 9.45 a.m., will include fivot tableaux, depicting scenes of ail Irish character. Hie St. Patrick's Collego Cadet Corps will form part of tho procession. In the evening at the Town Hall (large) a national concert will bo given, and from tho talent engaged it should reach its usual standard of success. Farquhur. Young and Miss Mildred Wrighton havo been specially engaged; also Miss M. Kearins, from Palnierston North. Tho other artists are Misses E. Driscoll, Nellio Strickland, Mary M'Keowou, Master Hen O'Brien will play a violin solo, Mario Fix and Lnslett Exton will recito, Mr. Glavin will d'anco an Irish jig, and tho Marist Old Boys' oichcstva will render selections.
