Dear Sir, —The Christmas pud- . dings have arrived safely, and are being, distributed at once. - , They will be vory much appreci- . ated ; Sofar, owing to railway congestion, it has not , been easy to ■ run Canteens well since, we came r dbwn : here,- and for that roason, as : well-as-that they came from New ■ Zealand, tliey have come at the right moment. The general health of the men is good, their spirits and their time fully ; occupied training ■under ideal conditions. Thanking the donors on behalf of New Zealanders in Egypt for the plum puddigs. .
