At the wool sales the better tone recently shown continues. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have Teceivcd the following cablegram from their London houso undor dato March 9, 1916:— "Wool sales are weaker, irregular and lower than February 5. Superior merino scoured, medium, 5 per cent, to 7£ per oent.; Inferior, .10 per cent.; greasy, medium, inferior, 10 per cent, to 15 per cent.; fine crossbred, 5 per cent, to 7£ per cent.; medium, coarse, and slipe, 74 per cent, to 1U per cent, (all lower)." • ■ LEAD STATISTICS.
