The newspapers point out that Germany owes Brazil £4,5G0,000 for coffee, and suggest that with a view to relieving the congestion of goods for export, tho Government should negotiate for tho chartering of the German merchantmen lying in Brazilian harbours, and threaten the most rigorous measures in the event of Germany refusing.
