Mr. W: A. Jefferies ("Daily Mail" correspondent) says there are conflict>ll7. report concerning tho attempted murder of Enver Pasha, Minister for War. The Turkish Legation at Athens denies the rumour, but letters from Constantinople describe the murder as an accomplished fact. Further reliable details say that Enver Pasha was shot, and probably mortally wounded, by an officer, • who then attempted snicido. Enver Pasha's guards prevented him doing so, almost tearing the officer to pieces. STATED TO BE VISITINC MEDINA. Constantinople, March 10. Enver Pasha is visiting Medina, one of the Mohammedan holy! places in Arabia.
