T&TOTICE is hereby given that the -L" Maknra County Council, in pursuance of tho provisions of "Tho Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913," and "The Comities Act, 1905," and its amending Acts, proposes to raise a Special Loan of XIOCO Irom the Superintendent, State Advances Office, for the purpose and ou tho conditions hereinafter mentioned:— (a) Such loan 16 being raised for the purpose of constructing new bridges to • replace those that were destroyed by flood in November, 1915, and repairing damage caused bv the same flood, to other bridges and roads throughout the Porirua Riding of tho Makara County. (b) The amount proposed to be borrowed is .£IOOO. (c) The Security for the said Loan is to be l-3i! of a penny in the pound, to bo levied upon the rateable valuo of all rateable property in the Porirua .Riding, excepting that portion of the Riding known as tho No. 2 Special-rating Area—Nzahaul'anga to Nowlands Road Special Rating Area—(vide New Zealand Gazette, p. 2243, July IS, 1912), of the Makara County. The loan Ts to be repaid in accordance with the provisions of 'The Local Bodies Loans Act. 1913,". Part 111.
