LODGE MEETINGS.

The Star of Wellington Lodge, 1.0. G.T., No. 12, held its weekly session in St. Peter's Mission Hall, Bro. R.igarlsford, C.T., presiding. The Harmony Committee was responsible for- the evening's programme, and a competition was held, two prizes being offered by the committee. The competition was won. by Sisters Hitchen and Hanley, jun. The item on the programme for. next week is "Brothers Responsible." A very pleasant orcning is anticipated. An invitation was received from tho Hope of Petono Lodge, inviting all members to bo present at their Lodge 'next Wednesday, .there being an "open night." An invitation was also received from tho Pioneer Lodge, to be present at their meeting neyt Monday evening, in the Recliabite Chambers, Manners Street, where tliey are holding a "harvest festival." The weekly session of tho Rising Star Juvenile Temple, 1.0. G.T., No. 8, was held in the St. Peter's Mission Hall, Taranaki Street, Sister Mrs. Roberts, the superintendent, presiding. One new sister was initiated. A very pleasant evening was spent, the following members contributing items: —Bro. Haley, songs; Sister P. Adams, pianoforte solo; Sister D. Roberts, recitation; Sister E. Barton, recitation; Bro. N. Bvnsr, song; Sister Duncan, recitation; and Sister M. Hanley, pianoforte solo.
