NEW ZEALAND ACCOUNTANTS ASSOCIATION
ANNUAL MEETING. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auokland, March 3. The annual general, meeting of the New Zealand Accountants' and Auditors' Association was held to-day. The repor-t stated that the credit balance at December 31 was £218, and the membership 222. The president said that he had been in correspondence with various Australian Societies ivith a view .to establishing reciprocity. The association" wits now in communication with tho Incorporated Society of Accountants of Victoria, the Federal Institute of Accountants, and the Corporation of Public Accountants of Australia. Officers were elected as follow:— President, Mr. Rowley, Wellington. Vice-presidents, Messrs. Bollard (Auckland), Corkill (Taranaki),Forsyth (Wellington), Salter (Canterbury), ■Statham (Otago), Ott (Southland). Members of Council, Messrs. Aicken, Hemingway, O'Halloran, Short, and Whitton (of Auckland); Bailo.y and Ellis (of Taranaki) ;• Bnintoii, Fleming, ICcllow, M'Kav, and Port (of Wellington); Bascand,. Oompfon, Hutchins, Tycrs, and Virtue (of Otago): Blyth, Mitchell, Patterson, Roitl, and Thompson (of Southland); Anderson and Seandrott (of Southland). Auditor, Mr. P. S. Butler. It was resolved that next annual meeting be held in-Wellington, unless otherwise determined by the Council. '
