PEOPOSAL TO EAISE A SPECIAL LOAN; NOTICE is hereby given that tho Mukara County, Council, in pursuance of the provisions of "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913," and "The Counties Act, 1908," and its amending Acts, proposes to raise a Special Loan, of J!1000 from the Superintendent, State Advances Office, for the purpose and ou the conditions hereinafter mentioned (a) Such Loan is being raised for tho purpose of constructing new bridges to 'replace those that were destroyed by Hood in November, 1915, and repairing damage, caused by the same flood, to other bridges and roads throughout tho Porirua Riding of the Jtakara County. (b) The amount proposed to be borrowed is ,£IOOO. (c) The Security for the said Loan is to be 1-32 of a penny in the pound, to be levied upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the l'orirua Riding, excepting that portion of the Riding known as the No. 2 Special-rating Area—Ngahauranga to Newlands Road Special Rating Area—(vide New Zealand Gazette, p. 2243, July 18, >912), of the Makura County. The Loan is to be repaid in accordance with the provisions of "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913," Part 111.
