WHAT A CHRISTCHURCH fIENTIST SATS ABOUT HIS STUDEBAKER. We have made big claims for the Studebaker 'car on the score of its reliability, its simplicity, and the ease with which, it can he driven. The following letter, addressed to us by Mr. K, Cowper. furseondenlist, of this city, demonstrates the kind of service the Studebaker will give 111 tho hands of an owner who has had comparatively little driving experience. Mr. Cowper purchased a Studebaker car from us 011 jSiovember 30th last, and his first lengthy tour was one in the North Island during the recent Christmas and Neit Year holidays. Concerning his experiences on that tour, 11 r. Cowper writes:"Just a few lines to tell you how thoroughly satisfied I am ivit-h my Studebaker car. As you know, I took it away with mo to the North Island, and went in all about TCOO miles, over all the big hills up in the north. Going from Weihngton through to Napier over the Kwiutakas, across to Palmerston, ■ Wanganui, Mid New Plymouth, and back to \\ oilington over the famous Paekakanki Hill, -liho car took all the big hills with the ®reatest ease, and did not give mo the slightest anxiety. All that distance It was not touched by anyone save to' give it petrol and oil, and we'did not_ even have to put wind into the tyres. You will ha surprised to hear that I brought the car over the Zig-zag from Lyttelton to Sumner, which says something {or the car and' the way 'you taught mo to drive." Tlie Studebaker driven by Mr. Cowper was, of course," equipped with electrio >ielf-sturfer and olectric lights. The new 191G model Stiidebakers will be to hand shortly, a first shipment being expected next week. 'The prices of the new models me:-23 h.p. five-seater (including electrio self-starter, electric lights, and full road equipment), .ESIS; 25 h.p. three-seater (same equipment), .£335.
