MEETING AT CROSS CREEK.

At a special meeting of tbe Cross Creek Branch of the A.5.11.5. to consider the high cost of living and the present rate of railwayman's pay, the executive's report of the interview with tlio Prime Minister and Minister of Railways came lip for discussion, and the following resolution was carried unanimously : — ' 'That this branch considers tho answers given to the executive re rise in pay are unsatisfactory; and, failing a definite and' favourable reply within a fortnight from date, a goreral conference of delegates bo called as soon as possible to consider drastic action."
