A five-roomed house, occupied by Mr. Alfred Morey, traveller for Messrs. Voitcli and Allan, was totally destroyed by fire at an early hour on Monday morning. The family had barely time to escape in their night attire, and lost thewhole of tlioir furniture and belongings, together with aboiit <EGO. in cash! Tlio origin of the fire is a mystery.
